한 여자 돌 속에 묻혀 있었네 
그 여자 사랑에 나도 돌 속에 들어갔네 
어느 여름 비 많이 오고 
그 여자 울면서 돌 속에서 떠나갔네 
떠나가는 그 여자 해와 달이 끌어 주었네 
남해 금산 푸른 하늘가에 나 혼자 있네 
남해 금산 푸른 바닷물 속에 나 혼자 잠기네

A woman was inside the rock
I followed inside the rock by her love
One rainy Summer day,
The woman left behind me with a tears
The Moon and The Sun helped her out
Nam-hae geum san, I, by myself on the blue sky
Nam-hae geum san, I, by myself drowning under the blue sea
